SEO FAQ

How BigRank handles site audits, rank tracking, performance monitoring, backlinks, integrations and white-label reporting.

What does the website audit check?

Every crawled page is checked for status codes, redirect chains and loops, titles, meta descriptions, headings, canonicals, noindex tags, structured data, Open Graph tags, hreflang, sitemap coverage, images and HTTPS. The results roll up into a 0–100 site health score that you can track crawl over crawl.

Can it crawl JavaScript-heavy websites?

Yes. Turn on JavaScript rendering when you set up the project and every page is loaded in a headless browser before it is checked, so content rendered by React, Vue or similar frameworks is audited too.

Does the crawler include my subdomains?

Not by default. Crawls stay on your main host, so app or status subdomains don't create false issues. You can opt subdomains in and add include or exclude URL patterns per project.

How are Quick Wins prioritized?

Each opportunity is ranked by likely impact and ease of the fix, then explained with what to do next. Crawl-based reports such as redirect waste work right away; traffic-based ones, like striking-distance pages or CTR opportunities, appear once Search Console is connected.

Do I need to connect Google Search Console?

Not to get started: the audit, Core Web Vitals, uptime checks and rank tracking run on their own. Connecting Search Console with read-only access adds the traffic-based Quick Wins, Index Status, Search Console positions in the Rank Tracker and, on Max and Ultra, organic keyword data, and imports up to 16 months of history.

How does rank tracking work?

Pick your keywords or import your top Search Console queries. BigRank records daily positions by country and device, shows the ranking URL, and highlights winners and losers so you can tie ranking changes to the pages behind them.

Can I monitor Core Web Vitals and uptime?

Yes. Lighthouse tests your key URLs daily on mobile and desktop (FCP, LCP, CLS, TTFB, TBT and Speed Index). Uptime checks run every 1 to 10 minutes depending on your plan, confirm outages from a second location, and warn you before SSL certificates expire.

Where does backlink data come from?

Backlinks and referring domains are built from Common Crawl's open web graph and refreshed monthly, with an authority score from 0 to 100 for any domain. Coverage is smaller than commercial link indexes, and you can keep a reviewed disavow list and export a Google-ready file.

Which integrations are available today?

Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster, Cloudflare, the SEO API and the SEO MCP server, which connects the ChatGPT and Claude apps by signing in, plus Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Cursor, GitHub Copilot in VS Code and other MCP clients. Automation tools (n8n, Zapier and Make) are coming soon. See all integrations.

Can I create white-label SEO reports?

Yes. Choose the sections you need (health score, issues, rankings, Search Console, Core Web Vitals, uptime, backlinks, Quick Wins) and export a PDF with your own logo, colors and company name, with no mention of BigRank.

Can my team and clients share a workspace?

Yes. Projects live in a workspace with four roles: Owner, Admin, Member and Client/Viewer. The Owner handles billing, Admins manage members and projects, Members work in projects, and Client/Viewer is read-only access for clients. The number of seats depends on your plan.

How much does it cost?

Plans start at $19 per month with a 7-day free trial, and yearly billing gives you 2 months free. See the pricing page for plan limits.
