How do freelancers use BigRank?

BigRank gives a solo consultant one place for client audits, Quick Wins, speed and uptime checks, rank tracking and white-label PDF reports. Each client site is its own project, so each client's data stays separate.

Which plan suits a solo consultant?
Pro includes 5 projects, one per client site. Max raises that to 15 when your client list grows.
Can I put my own branding on reports?
Yes, on every plan. Clients see your business on the PDF, and our name never appears.
Do I need access to my client's accounts?
Only for data the client owns, such as Search Console, Bing or Cloudflare, or to install the tracking script. The audit, speed tests and uptime checks need just the domain.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Each plan starts with a 7-day free trial.

Freelance SEO is hard to scale on your own

When you are the strategist, analyst and account manager at once, each hour spent collecting data is an hour you can't bill. The tools have to do the watching for you.

  • One person, several clients

Each client has its own site, keywords and deadlines, and you're the only one keeping track of all of them.

  • Tool costs eat small retainers

Paying separately for audits, rank tracking, speed tests and uptime monitoring takes a big share of a modest monthly fee.

  • Good work clients can't see

Fixed redirects or rewritten titles stay invisible to most clients unless you show them what changed.

Spend your hours on the fixes that pay off

Quick Wins recompute after each crawl and Search Console sync, and rank opportunities by impact and ease. Each item says why it matters and what to change, so you can scope a month of work quickly.

Learn more about Quick Wins
  • Striking-distance pages in positions 4 to 15
  • Title and meta fixes for low-CTR queries
  • Links that point at redirects

Draft client content without a blank page

The AI Article Generator turns a target keyword into an outline, then full sections in Markdown, in the language and tone you pick. Drafts queue in the background and stay in each project's history.

Learn more about the AI Article Generator
  • 1 draft per project per day on Pro
  • Low, medium or high reasoning effort
  • Export as Markdown or HTML

Speed checks that run while you work on other clients

Pick the URLs that matter for each client and Lighthouse tests them daily on mobile and desktop. When a score slips, a regression alert tells you first.

Learn more about PageSpeed monitoring
  • 25 tracked URLs per project on Pro
  • Lighthouse opportunities with estimated savings
  • History charts per tracked URL

Reports that make your work visible

Choose the sections for each client, from the health score and rankings to completed fixes, and download a PDF with your logo, colors and company name. Our brand never appears on it.

Learn more about white-label SEO reports
  • Completed fixes listed next to results
  • Status shown while each PDF generates
  • Scheduled email delivery is planned

A routine for each new freelance client

Five steps that take a client from the first audit to a monthly report, without a spreadsheet in between.

  1. Add the client's site

Create a project from the domain or a verified Search Console property, then set the crawl limit and depth.

  2. Share the starting point

Send the first audit and health score so the client sees where the site stands before you change anything.

  3. Agree on the first month

Pick a short list from Quick Wins and the audit, sized to the hours in your retainer.

  4. Let the checks run

Tracked keywords, PageSpeed tests and uptime checks run on schedule, and alerts arrive in the app and by email.

  5. Report and renew

Generate the PDF with completed fixes, point to what moved and propose next month's work.

Where freelancers put it to work

Small, repeatable jobs where one person needs evidence fast.

  • Disavow clean-ups

On Max and Ultra, keep a client's risky domains in one list and export a Google-ready disavow file.

  • One-off technical clean-ups

Find broken links, redirect chains and missing titles in a single crawl, then export the list.

  • Content refreshes

Use Falling Pages and Content Decay to choose which client posts to update first.

  • Blog drafts for clients

Turn a target keyword into a first draft that you edit before it goes to the client.

  • Local clients

On Max and Ultra, track a client's Google Maps position for local keywords.

  • Retainer reports

Send the same branded report each month so progress is easy to compare.

Is BigRank right for your freelance practice?

BigRank fits independent SEOs and web developers who want audits, monitoring and client reports in one subscription instead of several.

  • Consultants with up to 5 client sites on Pro
  • Freelancers who send clients a monthly report
  • Developers who add SEO checks to their web projects
  • Solo consultants planning to bring on a first helper

SEO Freelancers FAQ

Answers about plans, client access, exports and day-to-day use.

Can I see which searches each client page appears for?

Yes. Once the client's Search Console is connected, each crawled page has a Queries view listing the searches it shows up in.

What happens when I outgrow Pro?

Upgrade to Max or Ultra for more projects, tracked keywords and seats. Your projects stay where they are.

How many keywords can I track?

Pro tracks up to 100 keywords per project. Max raises that to 3,000 and Ultra to 5,000.

Can I hand the data to a client's developer?

Yes. Any crawl table, filtered the way you need, downloads as CSV or XLSX.

Do I have to install anything?

No. It runs in the browser. If a client's firewall blocks bots, allowlist the crawler's IP address shown during setup.

Can someone help me on the account?

Yes. Pro includes 5 seats, so a writer or developer can join with their own login and role.
