Next Combinator runs BigRank and is responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@bigrank.si.
Data we collect
Account data such as your name, email address and workspace details. Billing data is handled by our payment provider, and we receive only what we need to manage your subscription.
Usage data about how the service is used, support messages you send us, and the website and project settings you add to your workspace.
How we use data
We use data to provide and secure the service, run audits and monitoring, send notifications and reports you ask for, take payments, give support, and understand which features are useful so we can improve them.
We do not sell personal data.
Connected services (Search Console, Bing, Cloudflare)
If you connect Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools or Cloudflare, we access data from them only with the permission or token you provide, and only to show you reports and insights in your workspace.
You can disconnect a service at any time, which stops further access.
Crawling public websites
BigRank crawls websites that customers add to their projects. The crawler identifies itself, respects robots.txt and limits its request rate. The pages it reads are public, and we use them to produce the customer's reports.
Site owners who do not want to be crawled can block our crawler in robots.txt or contact us.
Chrome extension
The BigRank SEO Inspector extension analyses the page you open in your browser, on your device. Page content, page addresses and your browsing history are not sent to us.
When you open its Backlinks tab, the extension sends only the page's domain name to BigRank. Like any web request, this includes your IP address, which we use for rate limiting and keep in normal server logs.
When you check a page's links, your browser asks each linked site directly. Nothing about those checks is sent to us.
The extension needs no account, collects no identifiers and has no analytics.
Retention
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the service and meet our legal obligations, and then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your account data at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to complain to a data protection authority.
